Great Job Tammy!! I posted the link on facebook and got quite a response. One guy said ‘your argument was weak and mostly false.The prohibition needs to end so that our Country can thrive. Another guy wants the GOP to put legalizing pot in the platform so we can get the young voters. Spoken like two potheads!!!
I’ve known Alan for a long time. He’s a good guy even if he is a mushy-headed NY liberal. Funny thing about Alan…he suffers from what I call “Radio Brain Damage”. Every time I run into him he never remembers where he knows me from. It’s now become a runnung gag. I know a lot of people in radio with this same problem (luckily, not I). Must be from wearing headphones.
Let me get this straight. No salt, no big gulps, no junk food (eat your peas) from Moooochelle. Don’t ever, EVER smoke cigarettes. If you do it will cost your fellow citizens paying for your health care to treat high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, etc… Oh wait, we forgot to tell you that you can smoke all the weed you want. You see, when you’re high you’ll spend money on burgers and junk food when you get the munchies which will stimulate the economy. Oh wait, you can only eat food that is good for you when you get the munchies, ok? You promise? Great!
I understand Alan Colmes’ states rights argument and agree with it. The futility of the money pit that is the war on drugs is a valid point. The fact that the vote conflicts with federal law will be an ongoing problem. People just want to be able to smoke pot with no consequences. Tammy is right about the fact that it flies in the face of “don’t do drugs”. What almost all kids are taught growing up. Shocking that Washington and Colorado voted for this. Not many potheads in those states. The “transformation” continues my friends, and not for the better.
