A vote for Romney, is a vote for all sanity. Not just fiscal sanity. Hallelujah!

  2. “Example is not the main thing in influencing others. It is the only thing.”
    Albert Schweitzer (1875 – 1965)

    Romney is our example.

  3. Shifra says:

OK, I admit it: this is very childish and immature of me….

  4. mrcannon says:

I’m definitely inspired. I put up my Christmas tree today, never too early to get festive.

And Tammy, I mentioned this to you many moons ago, “Election Day” by Arcadia would be a perfect musical interlude.

  5. ann b says:

Shifra, that was delightful!! I’m trying to keep my chin up but the voting machine debacles in several states have got me worried. Please G-d don’t let this election be stolen.

    • Shifra says:

Glad you liked it, ann b…. I think it is hard to steal an election unless it is very close. I don’t think it will be close. I think O is toast πŸ™‚ But your prayer is a good one. We should all be praying. And calling people. And voting.

  6. shellym says:

Being a teen in the 80’s, I’m partial to that music. How about “The Final Countdown” …even though it’s by Europe! C’est dommage πŸ™‚

I must agree with mrcannon that “Election Day” by Arcadia is also a good choice.

And, finally….since I’m a Star Wars geek…John Williams’ “Victory Celebration” from Return of the Jedi would be fitting as well.

Here’s to this nation and all of us who are fighting so hard to honor and preserve her legacy, her promise and unyielding greatness.

Bumper Music for Wednesday (if the unthinkable happens)

Remember Who We Are, by Krista Branch, would also be fabulous, in my opinion.

  12. ShArKy666 says:

hey i know you’ve played this before but how about uprising by muse?

  13. Maynard says:

At this point, ignore the polls, that’s my advice. Polls just distract; overconfidence on one side and depression on the other. Just do your part, whatever that is. You do what you can, and it’s all you can do. Beyond that, we are in God’s hands, now and always.

God, please bless America. America, please render yourself worthy of God’s blessing.

Am I the only one that can’t sleep over this? I feel like I’m scheduled for open heart surgery. The prognosis is excellent, but there can always be complications and a long recovery (unless, of course you don’t make it).
I can’t tell you how many people I have talked to in the past day or two that feel like I do, counting the hours until they can throw this bastard out of office. The anticipation is palpable! (cactuswren)
    btw: great song

  15. Alain41 says:

    Ode to Joy.

And to represent show tunes, how about; 76 Trombones.

  16. midget says:

Before the election, “Don’t Feel Like Dancing” by Scissor Sisters, during the election, “Walking on Sunshine” by Katrina and Waves, after the election, “Moves Like Jagger” by Maroon 5. All upbeat songs, makes you feel happy, no matter what.

    • Di Grace says:

midget, I dance around my kitchen to “Moves Like Jagger.” The DJ played it at my daughter’s wedding, a totally a feel-good song. Will dance to it when Romney wins. πŸ™‚

I love the TAMS–you guys are so enthusiastic! I look forward to us claiming victory in the name of the Father, Son and H.S. πŸ™‚ For the other faiths, I respect your choices, but I’m of the Trinity πŸ™‚

  18. HellYeah says:

Looking forward to the liberal shock that they’ll experience tomorrow, as they realize the media lied to them about how close this election will be. They can put their thumb on the scales all they want. In the end, dems won’t turn out in anything like the 2008 numbers. Hell Yeah!

  19. ann b says:

  23. annagreye says:

If things go our way(God willing and the creek don’t rise)I’ll be dancing around the house to Tanya Tucker’s “I’m the Happiest Girl in the Whole U.S.A.”

Shifra’s “Na Na Na Hey Hey” suggestion is most wonderful for TAM’s to sing in unison while throwing our lampshades in the air.

  24. suede123 says:

Tammy, I want to thank you during the last 4 years. It seemed like tomorrow would never get here. For the longest time, I was worried. Now, I am NOT worried. I feel so confident. You have instilled this confidence in me.
I have six sisters, but what they don’t know, is that you make it 7.

  25. tamcat says:

Dropped my mail in ballot into the ballot box at the Sheriffs office today. What a pleasure and a relief! I did vote for Romney/Ryan. I couldn’t believe all the names under presidential race. ridiculous.

  26. fuego con fuego says:

I can’t believe I get to vote tomorrow. As others have said, this day seemed so far away for so long. I love everyone’s song suggestions. Here are my long-distance dedications to the libs…to be queued up for play as they start to see the election returns coming in in Romney’s favor: “Knowing Me and Knowing You” by Abba; Paul Simon’s “Slip Slidin’ Away” just for the chorus; and R. Kelly’s “When a Woman’s Fed Up” because THIS woman is fed up.

On Wednesday, as we wake up from our long national hangover and stumble joyfully into the sunlight, I’d blast “My Guy” by Mary Wells, Lee DeWyze’s cover of “Beautiful Day” and finish with Whitney Houston’s version of the National Anthem.

And, finally, I humbly offer the new theme for the MSNBC set: “Bye Bye Birdie” as the country says Bye Bye Barry!!!

  27. midget says:

Fuego- also” Bye Bye Baby” by Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons.

  28. Kitten says:

I would love to hear Mandisa’s “Good Morning” for bumper music on Wednesday’s show!
It’s a brand new day! Check it out…
