Yeah, this can definitely be applied to the Woodward book, too. And, here is Tammy’s latest Washington Times column on the Bob Woodward Trump-hating “fan fiction.” Tammy Bruce — Washington Times: The election that outraged liberals and made ‘Fear’ profitable Via Gizmodo. A mysterious (hilarious?) bug appeared to temporarily drag down the Amazon customer rating for Bob Woodward’s new book about the Trump administration’s first year in office. CNN: Omarosa Book ‘Stuck’ At #5, Beaten by Diet Book
by Shifra on August 14, 2018When you’ve lost CNN… Via CNN. By now, Omarosa Manigault Newman’s book “should” be the #1 best-selling book in the country. Right?…. On Monday, “Unhinged” finally cracked the top 10 on Amazon. Now it’s publication day, Tuesday, and the book is stuck at #5, behind a book about the ketogenic diet and several others. On the Barnes & Noble website, it is #4. First, let’s put that into context. Then let’s dig into why it’s not #1… — Omarosa doesn’t have “fans.” Yes, she is very well known. But not well liked. Her brand is about backstabbing, cheating, alienation. As Tyrus said on Fox Monday afternoon, “Omarosa is the most despised person in the free world.” She doesn’t have fans,...

‘Frankenstein’ Manuscript Shows the Evolution of Mary Shelley’s Monster
by Tammy on February 26, 2018Magnificent. They’re printing only 1000 ‘facsimiles’ of the notebook within which she wrote her masterpiece, which will likely make it quite out of reach for people like you and me, but at least we can read about it. Shelly was only 18 when she wrote ‘Frankenstein,’ btw. Amazing stuff. Via Smithsonian. Mary Shelley, as the famous story goes, first conceived of Frankenstein on a stormy night in 1816, while vacationing at the Lake Geneva villa of Lord Byron. The poet challenged his guests to “each write a ghost story,” as Shelley later explained in the introduction to her iconic novel, and she would spend the following months scribbling her tale of the “Modern Prometheus” and his monster into two large...

School District Pulls ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’; ‘Makes People Uncomfortable’
by Tammy on October 15, 2017Politically correct madness is like a virus, and it spreads unless we make an effort to stop it. Via AP & AL.com. “To Kill a Mockingbird” is being removed from a junior-high reading list in a Mississippi school district. The Sun Herald reports that Biloxi administrators pulled the novel from the 8th-grade curriculum this week.
