‘Beto’ Endorses Biden, Gets ‘Promise’ To Be Put In Charge of Gun Control
by Shifra on March 3, 2020“Great move” for Joe Biden’s clown car, er, campaign: A GOP ad of Robert Francis O’Rourke screaming “Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47” will turn off millions of law-abiding gun owners. And, there is no absolutely no reason to examine ‘18 U.S. Code § 599.Promise of appointment by candidate.’ Nothing to see here, folks. Just move along… Via Fox News. In a surprise moment at the end of his Dallas rally on the eve of Super Tuesday, former Vice President Joe Biden called former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke up to the stage — and vowed to put O’Rourke, who has said the government should forcibly seize assault rifles from Americans, in charge of gun-control efforts…. Joe Biden...

CA Dem Says Govt Could Nuke Resisters of Gun Confiscation
by Tammy on November 17, 2018And these are the same people who say our democracy is at risk because of Donald Trump. Got it. They also control the House, and this guy sits on both the Judiciary Committee and the House Intelligence Committee. Just FYI. Via Fox News. U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell on Friday said the U.S. government would use its nuclear weapons in a hypothetical war against Second Amendment supporters refusing to give up their firearms. The California Democrat, who is openly considering a run for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination in 2020, made the outlandish remark on social media after a gun-rights advocate pointed out that the lawmaker once called for gun owners to surrender their assault weapons.,, The comment drew an immediate...

Senator Feinstein Admits No Law Could Have Stopped Vegas Gunman
by Tammy on October 8, 2017But she keeps pushing for new laws anyway. Because Democrats never want to let a good crisis go to waste. All theatre, all the time, as they work to knowingly pass laws that won’t solve the particular problems we face but do give them more control over the population in general, while then doing nothing that will actually address the scourge of mass violence. Shameful. Via CBS. Sen. Dianne Feinstein told CBS “Face the Nation” no law would have stopped the Las Vegas shooter from killing 58 people and injuring more than 500 at a country music concert last week. The California Democrat made the comment as Congress debates how — or whether — to move forward on gun control...

NRA Calls for ATF Review of Bump Stocks, New Regulations After Las Vegas Shooting
by Tammy on October 5, 2017It’s understandable considering the roll this add-on played in the Las Vegas massacre, but banning it will not change the foundational problem involved with mass violence– the human condition. But it does give some people the impression that banning guns, or parts related to them, will solve the issue, eliminating any discussion about the actual problems. For some background, here are details about what bump stocks are. But here we go. Via Fox News. The National Rifle Association, in its first statement on the Las Vegas shooting and in a rare break from its traditional opposition to gun-related regulations, called Thursday for a federal review of so-called bump stocks and suggested new rules might be needed for the device apparently...

Hero Homeowner Holds Escaped Georgia Inmates at Gunpoint Until Arrests
by Tammy on June 16, 2017More details on the arrests of these scumbags who killed two guards in their escape. Never doubt, this nation remains safer because law-abiding Americans are armed. Via Fox News. A Tennessee homeowner held two escaped inmates wanted in the killing of two prison guards at gunpoint Thursday until authorities arrived and made the arrests. Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesman Lt. Bill Miller said late Thursday that the homeowner caught Donnie Rowe and Ricky Dubose trying to steal his vehicle. Miller says the escaped Georgia inmates had crashed a car while being chased by law enforcement and fled on foot into woods along Interstate 24 near the rural community of Christiana. Miller says something alerted the homeowner that people were outside his...

Wikileaks: Hillary Press Sec Says Gun Control To Be Implemented by Executive Order
by Shifra on October 9, 2016Hillary cannot be the next POTUS. Via Breitbart. The batch of emails released by Wikileaks on October 7 includes one in which Hillary Clinton press secretary Brian Fallon explained that Clinton “would support…closing the gun show loophole by executive order.” Fallon also highlighted Clinton’s support of universal background checks–which have already failed in California, Colorado, Washington state, and Paris–and her support for a scenario wherein victims of crime would be able to sue gun manufacturers. In the email, dated October 4, 2015, Fallon mentions that Today had made clear they were going to ask Clinton about guns. At that time she was still locked in a tougher stance than expected primary opponent Bernie Sanders. Fallon wrote: Circling back around on...

Gun Sales On Track To Set Another Record
by Tammy on September 6, 2016Just another reminder that we take the Constitution, and our freedom, seriously. Via CNN. Guns are selling at unprecedented levels this summer, which means 2016 is well on its way to breaking the all-time record for background checks. Background checks conducted by the FBI totaled 1,853,815 in August 2016, a 6% increase from August 2015. That’s the most checks ever in the month of August since the FBI started conducting background checks in 1998. In fact, every monthly tally this year has hit an all-time high, meaning that 2016 is on track to be the record year for background checks and, by proxy, gun sales. Background checks don’t correlate directly to gun sales, but do serve as an important indicator...

NY Rag, Er, Mag: NRA Endangers Women by Promoting Armed Self Defense
by Shifra on July 18, 2016Lib logic… Via Breitbart. On July 13 NY Mag suggested the NRA’s promotion of armed self-defense for women actually endangers women. They suggest that more women will die during an attack if women possess firearms. This paradigm is the result of a long-held leftist theory that men will simply take the woman’s gun and use it against her. NY Mag points to “research” by the American Journal of Public Health, which says: When an abusive partner has access to a gun, even if the gun belongs to their victim, the situation is more likely to turn deadly: “The presence of a gun in domestic violence situations increases the risk of homicide for women by 500 percent,” and, “more than half...

Anti-Gun Ohio Professor: Shoot Up NRA Headquarters, Leave No Survivors
by Shifra on July 10, 2016If an anti-abortion professor had posted a rant about storming Planned Parenthood headquarters to kill everyone, it would have been all over the news, and the left would be screaming the story from the rooftops. Via Fox News. An Ohio professor is reportedly under investigation for making a Facebook post calling for anti-gun activists to “storm the NRA headquarters” and “make sure there are no survivors.” James Pearce, an adjunct professor at Southern State Community College in Hillsboro, wrote the post on June 13, the day after the terrorist mass shooting attack in Orlando. “Look, there’s only one solution,” Pearce wrote. “A bunch of us anti-gun types are going to have to arm ourselves, storm the NRA headquarters in Fairfax,...

10 Cases Proving Trump Right: Armed Clubgoers Could Have Stopped Terrorist
by Tammy on June 18, 2016Because for some reason the legacy media, liberals and President Obama want you to think you are the problem, and you being able to protect yourself is the problem, the media is offering up a shocked response to Trump’s comment that if any of the Orlando Pulse club goers had been armed, they would have been able to take down the terrorist. Yes, that would have been a good thing, and many gays and lesbians seem to think so too, as the Pink Pistols, an LGBT gun owners club is finding out. Their membership soared after the Orlando terror attack. Political Wire posted: Donald Trump “argued again that the mass shooting in Orlando, could have been less deadly had people...

DNC Platform Committee Member: Nobody Should Own a Gun
by Shifra on June 9, 2016OK, let’s take the guns away from the Secret Service, and from the bodyguards hired by Hollywood elites. I hear sticks and stones can be very effective. Via RealClearPolitics. DNC platform committee member Bonnie Schaefer, a Clinton supporter, said she doesn’t think “anyone should have a gun” at a meeting with fellow members in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday. “I do believe that you’re absolutely correct – not just keeping the guns out of mentally ill people and criminals, but I really don’t personally think anyone should have a gun…. ****************************************************
